Hey everybody. brentalfloss here. Yes, it’s officially spelled with no capital letters.
Ahem…
We’ve seen it happen time and time again: Hollywood gets its oily, coked-up clutches on the rights to a beloved video game from our childhood and proceeds to butcher it royally on the big screen. The following is a short but potent list of the four worst examples.
Brace yourself; it won’t be pretty.

A couple weeks ago on the DSi shop a game became available that unlike most of the other crap on there didn’t reek of suck. Finally I had a little bit of faith in Nintendo and their ability to market toward people who buy game systems for actual gameplay instead of crap like brain age, not to mention the investment that I made when I traded in my DS for a DSi.
The game starts like most Mario games with the princess being captured, and of course Mario has to save her. The difference here is that instead of using Mario you use mini-Mario wind-up toys that know how to walk straight, go up stairs, and turn around when they run into walls. the Basic concept is to move blocks around so that the mini Marios can collect coins, cards, extra lives, and finally make it to a door. Sounds simple enough, but with added obstacles and enemies it gets pretty tough not to mention that after a mini-Mario goes into the door you only have 6 seconds to get the next one in. The only time game play changes is during boss battles where you get six mini-Marios and you use the stylus to aim a cannon loaded with the minis and shoot them at DK. Upon completion of each level you’re given a star of gold silver or bronze, depending on how well you did based on time and extra stuff you might have picked up and such.
All-in-all the Game is well worth the 800 DSi points which comes to $8, its a lot of fun and fairly addicting as puzzle games can tend to get.
