Ok, kiddies, now I know I didn’t update the last two weeks cause I had exams to prepare for.  Then, to make up for the stress of midterms, I took time off and went to Sicily and Naples;  which means people missed out on their normal dose of Jesus.  Somehow Glenn took time from being the goddamn batman long enough to notice this injustice and was all like, “Where’s my fucking column?”  Well, not quite, but I been reading a lot of Warren Ellis before bed lately (transmet + gin = odd dreams).  So in order to appease the mighty NerdFit overlords I bring you the first of two (maybe three if I get lazy and don’t want to make a real article later on) articles about my trek.

It was a lazy Tuesday evening, the type where you’re ready to jump out of your own skin due to a crushing urge to do something to stave off the boredom of routine. Maybe it was Monday, not that the day actually matters. We, myself and some my apartment mates, decide to head off in search of a good pie. I don’t refer to the sweet fruit filled stuff of diner and holiday tradition, but PIE. I apologize for not posting an article last week I will try to post tomorrow, or early next week to make up for that. However I’ve been trying to get all of my studies done and Italian is kicking my ass as a language, I have tough enough times speaking in my native tongue so another is throwing me for a loop. So here’s the deal, in the land o’ Cathol and Vino is this ass who dresses as Jesus, me for the slower folks out there. I given this opportunity I have decided to share with you folks at home my thoughts and experiences while in everybody’s favorite boot shaped country.

The goal was to do this on a weekly basis, and at first I was afraid I might not have enough stories to do this on a weekly basis, but based on my experiences thus far that might no be an issue. I will share some of my brain pickings with you now. First nugget of joy has got to be “Inspector GQ”.
