It’s a bit of a strange thing to review a DJ Mix, after all its a compilation of music from all different artists so its tough to speak about the DJ them self. However one of the most important fundamental abilities of a DJ that separates the greats from the jobbers other than beatmatching and blending is track selection. A DJ must be able to put together a setlist that is diverse enough to keep the audience engaged and at the same time rockin’ enough to never lose steam. There’s an overall flow to a set, and the DJ shapes that flow with his own tastes in music and judgement on what he/she thinks will move people. A mixtape therefore can be a great reflection of a DJ’s ability to really blow up a dancefloor. At the same time a DJ mix can have really great in-headphone listening value, as well as help expose someone to new music they might have not heard before.

Disclaimer: Let me get this out of the way first, for the most part I am not a fan of uplifting trance. I find a large majority of the tracks being produced today repetitive and boring, and the two minute breakdowns/buildups drive me up a friggen wall. That being said I have a lot to say about the new album Dreamcatcher from Polish (Yes, Poland actually does some cool things from time to time) producer Nitrous Oxide. The bottom line though is that you will either really enjoy this album, or you will really hate it.

- That’s right, shit just got real.
You’ve probably noticed that the majority of us have been running about like a bunch of chickens with our heads cut off. I would like to apologize on the behalf on the entire network, but rest assured, you’ll be getting new content soon!
We’re getting back on track with our broadcasts, we’re working on new content for our panels, we’re setting up live events you can hear our DJs perform at, and we’re working on other special events at various conventions that might just blow your mind! While you haven’t seen much of our articles, those who’ve seen us at conventions have seen us hard at work making sure we put in nothing but the best quality shenanigans. Nerdfit: Serious business, or seriously delicious?*
So, in summary, we’re sorry we haven’t updated lately, we still love you and will take you out on a date later, brb saving universe.
* If you answered seriously delicious, feel free to flirt with us on our forums. No, you know what? Just sign up for our forums, anyway. They’re improved and awesome now, you have no excuse. <3

Hey sorry I’m late but in reality only a handful of people read this so who cares. For the first time in weeks I’ve got a true day off. No obligations. No objectives. I walk around the town mostly out of boredom but entirely out of a lack of a social life. I see the sights, visit the museums, and look at the art and architecture of the world. Everywhere I go though I see a sign. Always the same sign; as if from god himself. “Warning these premises are being watched by cctv for your safety.”
One nation under cctv, don’t know who said it, but it sounds so much nicer as a acronym you have to spell out. If it’s one thing England shows us it’s the aftereffects of the modern world on our way of life. It shows us that maybe the decision’s still not out over whose winning the battle of the future, Huxley or Orwell.

Greetings Comrades!
In case the exclamation point wasn’t a drop dead clear indicator of my cheeriness than let it be said that I am truly happy. And by the time you’re reading this very sentence I won’t be in England. Funny that almost makes sense. No glorious sports fan I have officially ragequitted London- oh fuck you spellcheck that’s a word.
