In our triumphant return, we are not joined by Mark “Blooble, Prince Of The North” Steward, or Erik “The Funisher” Ferris but we’re glad to have our new 4th chair Doug “The Professor” Cowell, and special guests Marcus “Spamalot” Enriquez, Alex “Communist” Rennerfelt, and Phil “Graybush” Doherty. Also stopping by, producer of the show, Shanko Merenge. Now that the intros are out of the way, here are some highlights!
Phil deserves a Father Of The Year award for his praise of his son’s hockey team.
Doug wouldn’t mind a really, really tall girl.
Fanny Packs almost always mean you have a southern accent at Disney World.
Pooping in the Handicapped stalls, is like pooping in a mansion.
I really wish my girlfriend was a dolphin.
We’ll get back into the “normal” groove of things next week, with Episode 32. So until then, I hope you enjoy our comeback special, and keep the feedback coming! Email any and all to brandon@nerdfit.com.

By now, we’ve all heard of people making covers of video game music. Some shining examples are BadDudesMusic.com and OCRemix.org (Both, btw, are highly recommended for their quality.) But what about those who want to just do something awesome to the music of their favorite classic video game?
That’s why we have people like Andrea Vadrucci; He’s a drummer hailing from Italy who has made something incredibly awesome.
I was blown away by both his 27-piece drum set and the moment he broke into a rhythm. He’s done other pieces of work, too, that you might enjoy. Just browse through his youtube page and see what’s around.
This is my favorite, and one part of his stuff that I found awesome. Needless to say, holy crap.
Lvl 20, Int+10 is an opinion column for my rants and ravings that will hopefully encourage thoughtful discussion. On today’s menu an expansion on ZBot aka Will’s well written article What’s the Point of a DJ?
I’m working on making some chiptunes and getting into the scene, and that means eventually buying another oldschool DMG (the original, brick-like gameboy) and fixing the two NES consoles I have sitting in my room (I’m suspecting it’s the 72-pin connector.)
But what if I wanted something a bit more awesome than just the look of a regular gameboy? Well, thanks to seeing a certain tutorial thread on chipmusic.org, I’ve discovered this and more:
No, I am not asking if you keep my hammer in your pants. If you do, please tell me why it is there, and then return it promptly, taffer. I am simply wondering aloud where all the items in characters’ inventories are being stored, because I don’t see any bags slung around the shoulders of protagonists in many video games.
Almost any game that allows the player to pick up and stow items falls to this trope. I do not find this to be a flaw worth nitpicking unless the context makes it dreadfully stupid, but the lack of space to put every Hookshot and Master Sword is ripe for satire; both of which are the purpose of Armen’s Hammer. If anyone has a quarter, please enlist the services of Encyclopedia Brown: We have a case of missing stuff.
What? Another DJ so soon? You better believe it, we’re really working hard on getting the party jumpin’ every day of the week. With the Together festival wrapping up in Boston we’re making more contacts everyday, starting to reach out to a larger audience of EDM enthusiasts.
Always looking to expand our electronic image Nerdfit Radio is pleased to announce the addition of local Boston DJ Mike Nelson. Mike spins a mix of Trance and Progressive House, the best of both worlds of Latenight Trancemission and RadioNarc Fridays.
In the semi-triumphant return of Electric Dream Machine, it’s a very special live episode from our adventures at Templecon 2010. It is myself, Erik, Glenn, and special guest Doug Cowell (a.k.a. The Professor) of Dogtoon Media. In this fun filled episode, we discuss:
Steampunk Moses
Erik get’s mad that we went to Denny’s without him
Glenn almost gets teabagged by a Transsexual
Everyone rubs their goddamn beards into the mic.
Auto-erotic Asyphixiation And You: The Fresh Maker
FUPA
I apologize in advance for the idiots rubbing their beards in the microphones, and the audio may be a bit choppy or low at some points, I did my best to edit it.
Make sure you listen to the entire podcast, as there is a big announcement at the very end…
