You can totally grief people in Mario Party, Iunno what you’re talking about. Just play Mario Party 2, its like its set up for griefing alone.

It’s very rare when a game griefs YOU with something besides difficulty, broken cameras and/or controls. “Retard Stars” is like Tiger Woods wins the PGA Tour but then the title is transferred to his wife cause she beat him with a 9-iron and is considered better with a golf club than him.

Retard stars really only exist in post Mario Party 3, prior to this there was the minigame star, the coin star, and the happening star I believe, two of which are much less chance based than the newer incarnations. However the amount of map shenanigans that can be had with Mario Party 2 is boundless, as is the violence which it can result in.
